The Association for the Promotion of School Success (APRORESCO Education) is an organization composed mostly of professionals of Cameroonian origin working in the education sector residing in the greater Toronto area.
It was with the aim of creating a group that shared the values of their country of origin and was eager to integrate into their host country that its founding members decided to create it. It was called in turn Amicale , Cam 21st Century Education and finally APRORESCO Education .
On December 12, 2009, it was unofficially born and evolved through monthly meetings to establish its organizational structures. Subsequently, official recognition procedures were initiated with Canadian provincial and federal government authorities. On December 27, 2013, they were completed and APRORESCO Education was granted non-profit organization status under number 8486930.

APRORESCO Education members come from diverse professional, educational and religious backgrounds. They are committed to working together to contribute to the educational, social, cultural and economic development of the province of Ontario.
Members feel a deep attachment to the fundamental values of mutual respect, integrity, honesty and solidarity. As professionals and parents, the academic success of young people is at the heart of the organization’s action.
This is why past, present and future projects have aimed, aim and will aim for their full development in the French-speaking community that hosts them.
Administrative regulations
The “APRORESCO Education” Association’s essential mission is to promote success and the values of education within the Franco-Ontarian community.
The Association intends
- Provide additional personalized support to students in their mathematics, science, chemistry, physics, French courses from 7th to 12th grade;
- Provide personalized academic support to young people in need who are at risk of failure and dropping out of school;
- Raise awareness among communities and parents about their role in education in general and in academic success in particular;
- Provide opportunities for mentoring, leadership and information useful for achieving the best results in academic performance;
- Strengthen networking and sharing of ideas, resources and technological approaches among members of the teaching profession;
- Contribute to the implementation of various humanitarian and social projects.
